Dr. Philip M. Bonaparte, MD is the Senior Pastor of New Hope Church Of God. He gave his heart to the Lord at the age of 15 and started preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to fellow high school students. At the age of 19 he was called by the Lord to pastor, and founded the Woodlands New Testament Church of God in Grenada West Indies. At the age of 19 he also started Medical School.

Pastor Bonaparte has shared his faith in the Lord Jesus in many Caribbean Islands including Grenada, Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, Jamaica, Haiti and St.Vincent. He spent one year of  his medical training in England where he preached the gospel as well.

On September 22, 2002 he started New Hope Church of God in Millstone Twp NJ. Today the church has grown to over 200 members representing 15 different nationalities and culture. Dr. Bonaparte is in the highest ministerial rank with the Church of God, (Bishop), and served as a District Overseer for four churches and on the NJ State Ministers Council, Coordinator for NJ Pastoral Care Covenant Group Program. Pastor Bonaparte is married to Tracey S. Watson-Bonaparte and is the proud father of Philip II and Philicia.  He loves evangelism and has made several missionary trips to places such as India and many Caribbean Islands providing medical care and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.
